Dr. Nicole Sirotin, MD DipABLM FACP, is an award-winning Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician. She is the CEO of the Institute for Healthier Living in Abu Dhabi, a breakthrough project for precision medicine. She served as a Department Chair for 9 years at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and now as a staff physician. Dr. Sirotin previously held faculty positions at Weill Cornell Medical College and Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is currently serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.

With a career spanning over 18 years, she is an accomplished physician thought leader and international speaker in Precision Lifestyle Medicine with a passion for building innovative programs, leading an effective team and spreading the scientific message on how central lifestyle choices are to our health and longevity.

Ali Hashemi is a health tech investor with a particular focus on the application of deep learning and complex algorithms to solve challenging problems in healthcare. Ali is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of GluCare.Health, a hybrid healthcare metabolic disease perform generating among the best outcomes globally for its patients.

Ali previously founded Amana Healthcare, a continuum-of-care hospital platform in the Middle East, acquired by Mubadala Healthcare in 2018. Earlier, Ali was a member of the Healthcare and Private Equity Practices at Bain&Co, based in New York City, and later founded and led the Middle East Healthcare Practice at Booz&Co, based out of Dubai.

Ali studied Medicine and earned his MBA concurrently from McGill University. He earned a B.S.E. with Distinction from Duke University with a dual major in BioMedical Engineering and Religion and a minor in Chemistry.

Ali is a member of the Global Advisory Board for the Duke Fuqua School of Business, a lecturer for the Duke Global Executive MBA Program, and a proud Duke basketball fan.

A surgeon by training he now has a portfolio career spanning clinical medicine and health technology. He leads a range of projects across healthcare providers, academia, and industry, aimed at impacting patient care by translating new and emerging innovations into clinical practice.

He is also the co-founder of Fava Health; an early-stage start-up providing digital services to health systems, life sciences and start-ups to put pharmacogenetics into practice - unlocking the potential of personalised medicine at scale.
