Dr. Hashmi is a oncologist who is currently the Director of Research at the DOH, UAE. He is also a Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, Minnesota, USA. His medical graduation was from Baqai University, and has MPH degree from the Yale University, after which he did he did residency in Preventive Medicine/Internal Medicine at Yale-Griffin Program in Connecticut. He did his fellowship in hematology/oncology and BMT at University of Rochester, New York. Then he joined faculty at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Recently he was the Medical Director of Research and Chairman of Dept. of Hematology/Oncology. He was also the Chairman of SEHA Oncology Council. He is a global leader in Artificial Intelligence in healthcare, Stem cells and Regenerative Medicine and Aging Biology. He has published >300 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
