Currently, he holds the position of Chairman of Neurosurgery at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas, and serves as the Chief Health Innovation Officer at Discover STEM Academy in Plano, Texas, alongside his role as CEO of Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery in Dallas.

As a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Al Belushi has significantly advanced the field of neurosurgery. He along with the chairman performed the groundbreaking first-ever placement of a spinal cord stimulator in a patient with paraplegia in 2011, enabling the patient to walk again. He also achieved milestones as the first to conduct robotic spine surgeries in both North Dakota and the Middle East, specifically in Abu Dhabi in March of 2022.
