As the Chief Medical and Strategic Officer of Tricelx, a pioneering American company, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Belushi is at the forefront of translating cutting-edge, science-backed stem cell solutions into transformative treatments for aesthetics, orthopedic conditions, longevity, and healthy aging.

In addition to his role at Tricelx, Dr. Al Belushi serves as an advisor to the Board of Directors and CEO of Oxefit, the world's sole provider of data analytics and AI-driven technologies aimed at enhancing health recovery, longevity, and overall wellness for humanity.

Notably, Dr. Al Belushi is the first and only Emirati to achieve American board certification in Neurosurgery, a prestigious distinction earned through an exhaustive 16-year educational journey. This includes a commendable undergraduate education in Kentucky, medical training in Ohio, and extensive neurosurgical residency and fellowship programs at the renowned Cleveland Clinic, University of Louisville, and Johns Hopkins University—recognized as the premier institution for neurosurgical training in the United States. He graduated with honors from medical school and is a proud member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Al Belushi made history as the only medical student in his class to successfully match in Neurosurgery in 2007. Currently, he holds the position of Chairman of Neurosurgery at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas, and serves as the Chief Health Innovation Officer at Discover STEM Academy in Plano, Texas, alongside his role as CEO of Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery in Dallas.

As a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Al Belushi has significantly advanced the field of neurosurgery. He along with the chairman performed the groundbreaking first-ever placement of a spinal cord stimulator in a patient with paraplegia in 2011, enabling the patient to walk again. He also achieved milestones as the first to conduct robotic spine surgeries in both North Dakota and the Middle East, specifically in Abu Dhabi in March of 2022.

Recognized globally, Dr. Al Belushi has been ranked by Google as one of the best neurosurgeons in the world and has been named one of the top neurosurgeons in Texas by U.S. News & World Report. He holds multiple American patents, including innovations in brain-computer interfaces, remote consultation systems, and automated wheelchairs, all aimed at empowering patients with mobility challenges.

In 2024, he performed the world's first in-office minimally invasive sacroiliac joint fusion on an awake patient using advanced navigation technology in Texas. Additionally, he set a world record for the highest number of robotic spine surgeries conducted within three consecutive months.

Dr. Al Belushi has played an instrumental role in establishing spine centers of excellence across three distinct hospitals in two states, demonstrating his commitment to advancing neurosurgical care and innovation. He welcomes collaboration and partnerships to further his mission of enhancing health and wellness through pioneering medical advancements.
