Charlotte Ashton-Khan is a communications and external affairs expert with more than a decade of experience in global non-profits and academia, with a specialist focus on health and development.

As director of external affairs at the Office of Health Economics (OHE) – an independent health economics research organisation in the UK -she works with partners including the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the World Economic Forum to maximise the impact of health economic research to build alliances that create thriving ecosystems benefiting health systems and care around the world. Her current focus is on cultivating strategic partnerships across sectors, channelling efforts through the global not-for-profit Change Initiative.

 She is also a member of the Steering Committee for Women in Global Health UK. Mrs Ashton-Khan has a master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS University of London.
