Professor Eugene Oteng-Ntim MBBs MRCOG PGDip FRCOG is a consultant obstetrician and honorary senior lecturer at Guy’s and St Thomas’, with over 30 years of experience specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology. 

He graduated from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School (London) in 1991 and has since provided top-notch antenatal and postnatal care services to women on every level of the health spectrum, including those with high-risk pregnancies and pre-existing health issues; he is renowned for his gentle approach to pregnancy, and since graduating has delivered over 2,000 happy, healthy babies in London and Ghana. In 2023, Professor Eugene was appointed Clinical Director of Women’s Health Directorate at Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust.
 
In 2003, Eugene was awarded GlaxoSmithKline fellow by the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) and in 2007 became president of the maternity and newborn section at RSM. He is also a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and was admitted as a member of RCOG in 1997 and a fellow in 2009. 
 
Furthermore, Professor Eugene has also been an honorary senior lecturer at Guy’s and St Thomas’, and he has published extensively including in the British Medical Journal on how to prevent pelvic floor trauma following childbirth.
