Dr. Fatima Jamali, Founder and CEO of Cell LAB 7, a capacity-building company based in UAE to serve the MENA region’s growing cell & gene therapy sector. 
 
She co-founded the cell therapy centre at Jordan University and headed the neuroscience research. She designed and led the execution of clinical trials to treat Multiple Sclerosis (MS), spinal cord injuries, and Parkinson's disease using cellular therapy products.
 
She is the recipient of the first round of Bau Healing Award for the innovative scientist category. She received several trainings in related areas, including, GCP and Clinical Trial Quality, Biorisk management and, bio-banking from US and EU entities. 
 
 
As the Head of Neuroscience Research, her basic research interests include:
 
Transcriptome analysis and miRNA content of MSCs from different origins
 
MSCs gene editing using RNA silencing
 
Telomere-telomerase dynamics in MSCs senescence
 
She is the author and co-author of scientific papers published in peer-reviewed journals and a co-author of a book chapter by Springer entitled Stem Cell Therapies in Neurological Disorders—Advances in Stem Cell Therapy."
