Biosketch: Christian Sina, MD, is a Professor of Medicine and Director of the Institute of Nutritional Medicine at University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein. His research centers on the intricate relationships between diet, the microbiome, and metabolism. He also leads the Nutri-AI research group, which focuses on digital therapeutics and personalized nutrition. As the head of the Preventive Medicine Division at Fraunhofer IMTE in Lübeck, Prof. Sina drives the development of innovative strategies for targeted healthcare prevention. In addition to his academic endeavors, he has co-founded several healthcare companies and advises leading medical institutions on nutritional and preventive medicine.
