Richard is Chief Medical Officer and Senior Executive Advisor in PwC’s Health Industries practice in the Middle East and previously Chief Medical Officer for Emirates Airline. He qualified as a doctor from Kings College London in 1996 and has over 20 years of experience as a Physician Executive/Chief Medical Officer and Health Care Improvement Expert. His career covers Family Medicine practice, leadership and board roles in public and private health care organisations and providing advisory services to governments, regulators, providers and payers.   

Richard brings experience and expertise across multiple programs from strategy to implementation and operations including health sector transformation, patient experience and reported measures, value-based care, health workforce, population health, patient safety, clinical leadership and organisational health and wellbeing. After 9 years living in Dubai, Richard moved to Riyadh in 2023 to be closer to the healthcare transformation programs in the region.
