James Mault, MD, FACS, is the Founder and CEO of BioIntelliSense, an FDA medical device
and artificial intelligence data services company, delivering breakthrough medical-grade
wearable biosensor technology with unique clinical insights for scalable continuous patient
monitoring across all care settings. Prior to BioIntelliSense, Dr. Mault served as SVP and Chief
Medical Officer of Qualcomm Life and Medical Director of the Health Solutions Group at
Microsoft. Over the course of his career, Dr Mault has an initial 20 years’ experience as a
hospital-based clinician with over 60 articles and chapters in the published medical
literature and subsequently another 20+ years’ experience as a Med-Tech entrepreneur
with over 90 Patents and raised over $400 million in capital as the founder of 5 start-up
companies, including IPO and M&A exits. Dr Mault received his BS and MD degrees from
the University of Michigan and completed General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery
Residencies at Duke University Medical Center.
