Dr. Samir Said leads the Philips Healthcare Informatics business in Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, Russia and Central Asia. The Healthcare Informatics portfolio combines Philips’ software and hardware solutions to empower healthcare leaders and care providers with the actionable insights they need to make informed decisions, optimize workflows and operations, and deliver high-quality care to improve patient outcomes. Dr Samir is responsible for creating enterprise-wide strategies to deliver people- and patient-centric innovation, at scale.

 Prior to joining Philips, Dr. Samir was the General Manager, Healthcare & Life Sciences for Middle East and Africa at Microsoft Corporation and earlier to that he spent over a decade in the pharmaceutical industry working at Eli Lilly and Novartis in North America, Europe and Africa.

Dr. Samir is a physician with a specialty in Psychiatry and Mental Health. He has served as an advisor to the World Health Organization on National Mental Health Programs.
