Tony Terzis is a Swedish-educated and licensed physician with a 20-year career at the intersection of business and science. His journey began as a clinician at Lund University Hospital in Sweden, from where he transitioned full-time to the pharmaceutical industry in 2008, and subsequently advanced as a medical affairs leader, demonstrating skills and leadership in both, scientific and business domains. 

Tony’s major career highlights include executive medical affairs positions with Takeda, MSD, Novartis and as of late Eli Lilly and Company, across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. Tony's broad cross regional experience has equipped him with unique perspectives, enabling him to effectively bridge the gap between scientific discovery and business application.

In 2018, Tony earned an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics, further enhancing his business acumen and leadership skills and as of October 2024 Tony joined Lilly in Dubai, as Associate Vice President of Medical Affairs for Lilly’s META region; a role in which he continues his longstanding commitment to integrating medical expertise with business strategy.
